Truth About “Designated Survivor” and the Gülen Cult

Netflix version vs Real version

I just happened to come upon an episode of a Netflix show called “Designated Survivor” where Turkish media was claiming that the show favors the Gülen cult and shows Fethullah Gülen as a hero. Most of the time I find out that the media is exaggerating things and raging over nothing. But this one was obviously a Gülen propaganda, and was probably one of those shows funded by the Gülen cult. Even the names of the politicians are so rushed. President “Fatih Turan” is the combination of the soccer player Arda Turan and the coach Fatih Terim, and “Nuri Şahin” is the name of another soccer player. So it’s like making a political movie with two opposing American leaders being called “Michael Jordan” and “LeBron O’Neal”

No matter how much they claim that this is just fiction, the similarities are overwhelming and there is no question that this is about Erdoğan vs Gülen. And I know that westerners strongly believe Gülen is just a peaceful opposer to Erdoğan, and this is why he’s being persecuted. The short answer to that is, you’re simply wrong. There isn’t a subjectivity or “depends on where you look at” thing in here. Gülen is a much worse person than Erdoğan in every way.

In order to see the truth in these conflicts, westerners must understand one important concept: THE ENEMY OF A BAD GUY DOESN’T HAVE TO BE A GOOD GUY. For years the western media and Hollywood showed themselves and their allies as good guys, by simply showing their enemies as the absolute worst. I’m one of the many Turkish citizens who lived Gülen’s terror when they were at the height of their power. His cult was so strong, whichever party he would support would have the lead. That’s why almost all the politicians were lining up to get his “blessing”. Erdoğan’s party came to power with huge support from Gülen. They were the best buddies back then. Gülen/Erdoğan owned 90% of the Turkish media. Once they seized immense power, they started taking out the opposers one by one. They created an imaginary terrorist organization called “Ergenekon” which was supposedly planning a coup and started jailing the officers, journalists, writers, politicians who opposed them. They all got 20–30 years, even life sentence from of a few pieces of paper called “evidence” and “hidden alibis”. And the media (including Gülen media) was attacking these innocent people relentlessly. When this was happening, western media did nothing. Nobody was calling the government dictator or somth. They were praising the government for “outing the coup conspirators”.

And in 2013 Gülen and Erdoğan groups started conflicting, as you would have in every middle eastern coalition. They had a power conflict, that’s why they parted ways. Once this happened, it was inevitable that things would go violent. Because Gülen is USA’s remote controller. And when the receiver is broken, it needs to be changed. So Gülen had no choice but to remove him. And Erdoğan knew about this. That’s why he started purging all the Gülen related officers in the army. We all knew they existed, because I personally knew 2–3 people who had experience with Gülen student houses who would steal the questions to be able to score high in the military entrance tests. They would then give those questions to their study houses. So if you go to those Gülen houses and studied there, you’d be surprised to see many of the questions in the entrance exam are the same ones you studied.

This was only a small portion of Gülen’s reign. In many lines of work, you wouldn’t have a chance of surviving if you weren’t a member of the Gülen cult. Even in the national soccer team, you’d be favored if you are a Gülen member.

So, yes we are hoping that Erdoğan would lose the elections, because of many reasons. Mainly because his government sucks really bad at economy, they’re living super luxurious lives while people are getting poorer everyday. And also because he’s using religion more and more in order to gain more political power, therefore skeptics are having a really hard time. But make no mistake, Gülen is a much worse person. All those Gülen journalists which got jailed and are asking sympathy from the west because “freedom for press”, they don’t deserve any sympathy. Of course none of you experienced how relentless they were oppressing their opposers when they had the power. These people deserve no sympathy whatsoever.

So, do I think it was Gülen who attempted the coup, or was it just an independent portion of the army? My personal opinion is that he was involved in it. Simply because I already knew the army was full with Gülen followers, and that Gülen has to remove Erdoğan. So even before this happened, I said in one of my podcasts, the Erdoğan will probably go because of a coup from Gülen. Because that’s how coups worked before in Turkey. Only this time, Erdoğan also knew it so he started purging the army, and probably that’s why the coup attempt wasn’t very organized and strong.

And the second reason why I think it was Gülen’s people is, because I can’t think anyone else who would try such a desperate attempt.

I agree with your statements regarding the Gülen/Erdoğan conflict and the up to date given situation resp. where it all lead to.
On the other hand, Hollywood or Western Media doesn’t care about truth, justice or similar values. They care for money…
